friendly staff convenient parking central location
The staff were great. i found the hotel easily with convenient parking at the rear. the location was central. Shops and restaurants are nearby.
The room's lighting was not ideal. The main light resulted in shadows, and the angle-poise lamps offered only limited visibility.

I enjoyed a lovely evening meal at the hotel. the breakfast included many options. I selected a full english breakfast. i must also say the hotel restaurant is connected to a pub that has good local beer.

The receptionist was indeed helpful, and I felt welcome. I found the room furniture matched the age of the building. It created a nice atmosphere. Breakfast was plentiful with many options. It helped me start the day right. I appreciated that.
My room had dim lighting, and it was difficult to see well in the evenings. It definitely affected my experience. I hope they improve it.
